A CHILD'S GARDEN
A Child’s Garden LLC is a Waldorf-inspired preschool and kindergarten with daycare options for children beginning at 12 months of age. It is situated in beautiful Bend, Oregon, and was established in 1998. Our goal has been to provide quality programs throughout the year in a warm, calm, and nurturing environment in which the imagination and creativity of the child will flourish.
Inspired by the Waldorf Philosophy, at A Child’s Garden we promote reverence and respect towards nature, our toys, classrooms and our relationships with classmates, teachers and family. We create an environment in which the child can grow and learn through his/her imitation of the healthy experiences around them in daily life. This environment lays the foundation for the wonder of learning and teaches them the skills needed for their life’s work of discovery.

Our community of enthusiastic and dedicated teachers work to foster in each child a lifetime love of learning through our daily rhythm which integrates arts, movement, music, crafts, drama, and play guides that support the children as they grow.
