A Note from Ms Rita
I would like to share with you some information about A Child’s Garden .
A Child’s Garden was created in 1998 with a vision of fulfilling the child’s needs in a healthy, nurturing enviroment. Founded on the Waldorf philosopy and enhanced through our continuing education, our school is an ideal way to help guide children through their most important years. Apart from raising my own two children, the school has become my passion and my calling in life.
Children are a gift, precious beings, open to anything and everything their passage offers. Helping them sift through the gigantic task of life's choices is very important to us. Viewing each child as an individual, nurturing them through the arts, introducing them to the power of their imagination, creativity and building the foundation for the love of learning, are just some of the ways we help guide them on their journey.
A child’s development in the first seven years of life is extremely important in who they will become as an adult. Nurturing them as a whole being ( head, heart and hand ), allowing them to be a child rather than a little adult, to grow and develop as nature intended is our objective.
